Steps:
1. To begin wrapping the ribbon
around the rings of the bowl, glue the starting
end to the bottom of the largest ring.
2. Start wrapping the ribbon
tightly around the ring, overlapping and angling
the ribbon slightly. Keep the angle as consistent
as possible while wrapping so that all the rings
will have a blended look. Since you are not gluing
the ribbon as you wrap, you can always re-wrap it
if it looks uneven.
3. As you reach the starting
end of the ribbon, try to space the ribbon so that
the final wrap isn't too close or too far apart.
You can re-wrap the bowl anytime with seasonal ribbon
or ribbon for any special occasion.
4. To adhere the final wrap,
fold back the wire edging on the starting piece
of the ribbon so the final piece may be wrapped
underneath it to create a continuous wrap.
5. Cut and glue the ribbon.
6. Continue the same process
for all of the rings of the bowl.
7. If desired, paint the base
with matching acrylic paint. If texture is desired,
use a sponge to apply paint.
